Is Bad Newz movie worth watching, honest review

After facing several delays, the highly anticipated film Bad Newz from Dharma Productions has finally been released in theaters today.

The trailer of the movie had already generated a lot of buzz, especially with the catchy song Tauba Tauba adding to the excitement. But was all the hype surrounding the film justified? Read our review below to find out!

The movie follows Akhil, a typical Delhi guy who falls in love with Saloni, a chef with big dreams. After getting married, their relationship hits a rough patch and they end up getting divorced. Saloni moves to Mussoorie and meets Gurbir while working at a hotel, sparking new possibilities for her future.

So basically, Saloni ended up sleeping with both Gurbir and Akhil in one night, and now she's pregnant. But the crazy part is that both guys could be the fathers because of something called heteropaternal superfecundation. Now the big question is, who will end up raising the babies with Saloni - Gurbir, Akhil, or maybe even both? Looks like things are about to get complicated...

Morale of the film

Bad Newz is a movie that initially shows promise with its unique concept, but ultimately falls into the typical trope of two guys vying for a girl's attention. The first half of the film has some good comedic moments, but it loses steam in the second half and feels like it drags on. However, it redeems itself towards the end with an emotional climax that picks up the pace again.

This story had the makings of a funny movie, with some scenes in the first half that are sure to have you laughing. However, it doesn't quite hit the mark in the second half. While it's not a sequel or part of a franchise, being produced by Karan Johar and focusing on pregnancy will inevitably draw comparisons to Good Newz, which was a great film.

Actors' Performances

In the movie Bad Newz, the lead actors give standout performances that make the film a good watch. Vicky Kaushal excels in portraying his character with charm and humor, while Ammy Virk impresses with his ability to deliver comedic lines effortlessly. Their on-screen chemistry adds to the overall entertainment value of the film.

In the trailer, we didn't see much of Triptii Dimri so some people thought she was just there for glamour. But when you watch the film, you'll see she has a strong role and does justice to her character. Her performance is amazing in certain scenes that will make you sit back and watch. The chemistry between Vicky and Triptii is also impressive in the film.

Neha Dhupia has a small but interesting role in the movie, and it would have been great to see more of her character. Sheeba Chaddha also delivers a good performance in her part. Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma make cameo appearances in the film and both actresses look stunning and leave a lasting impression with their acting.
